Storyteller

Contrary to the world we live in, being a storyteller is generally considered an actual profession. Storytellers are mentored - trained and taught both the stories to tell and how to properly tell them for years before being allowed to call themselves such.

Most storytellers are part of the Travelers Guild allowing them to freely cross borders of any of the major nations - resulting in many of them part-timing as smugglers both for wares and letters containing all kinds of information. It is rumored that some of the major nations employ storytellers as spies, although such work is prohibited by the Travelers Guild and often results in a bounty placed by it.
